Week 40 - Roof is fitted, are you kidding me!

Went to site this morning, was going to take some photos of the completed frames. Then I found out the roof is almost fitted! Are you kidding me!!

So forget about the frames, here are the photos of the roof!

Have received a letter from builder claiming 2nd instalment for frame completion! Will take a few photos on Saturday!

3 More neighbours submitted their Development Application

The street is filling up quickly!

In the immediate neighbourhood, there are 26 blocks and 15 of them are at various development stages now, including 3 fully completed.

Week 39 - We've got frames, lots of them

Weekly site visit shows that they have started doing frames already!

Since contractors were still working when I was there, I took the shots from some distance so that not to interrupt their works. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow to take a few closer shots!

Week 38 - We've got slab!

Drove by this morning and the slab was really done!

So the garage and porch are slightly lower than the rest of the house. I don't really understand why but apparently this is what's shown on the drawing.

It doesn't look that big when it's all empty, does it?

Time to pay?

Got an email from builder saying that they have done the base and it's time to pay the first instalment!!

I was hoping when I go to site this weekend I'll see some progress but didn't expect it would have come to the stage of first instalment payment. Will definitely go to site tomorrow and take some photos!

Week 37 - They have really started!

Hmm I thought when they are going to start they will let you know! Went to site this morning and apparently they've done some actual construction works (finally!!) and they haven't even told me.

What can be done in 2 months?

My neighbour across the street. One photo was taken 1 Aug and the other one today. Amazing what can be done in 2 months! Sometimes smaller builders are in fact faster, as long as they are financially sound!

Week 36 - An update about not much ...

The weather was grey but went to site anyway ... not much has been done apart from a few more signs putting up!
